It is surrounded by the majestic Two Thumbs mountain range of the Southern Alps and the huge braided Rangitata River. The surrounding area provided the backdrop to many scenes from the Lord of the Rings. What is Mesopotamia Station?Mesopotamia Station is a family-run and traditionally farmed, working sheep, deer and cattle farm, now diversifying into various tourism ventures, including hunting for Thar, Deer and Chamois.
